First you just need to know the facts. Use your exam review sheet to identify which topics you struggled with. Then complete a set of questions on these topics. Visit the year 11 paper 1/2 pages.

You know the facts, but struggle to spot what you are being asked. e.g. you didn't notice a question that was on carrots was actually testing Osmosis.
These packs contain questions that feature in both FT and HT.

Everyone thinks they can do maths ... until they get it wrong. Its not just adding and multiplying, its remembering to check for significant figures, rearranging calculations and applying your maths to unfamiliar contexts.

Ignore practical revision at your peril! There are approximately 27 practicals, which seems huge. There are key themes in practical, e.g. writing a method (what will you measure, change, keep the same), procedure (what equipment do you need) and knowing how to improve accuracy (true value) and validity (fair test - control all the variables).
We have put a whole set of pages to help - so head here, make yourself a flash card on each practical and then do a set of questions. Remember, revising practical revises content too!
A scarily high number of students gain 0 or do not attempt the extended answer questions, with the most common mark being just 1-2 marks! If we can score highly on these, you can make a big difference to your success. Try these packs to help, they are linked to each paper.
